Bug report - Problem with renaming backups

Backups Shown in destination that dont exist.

In my destinations tab I can see backups that i have deleted from the destination folder. How do i get rid of them out of shadow protect?

Unable to backup boot volume, other volumes work fine
We have a server that used to be backed up using a BDR with Storagecraft software. When we moved the server from one ESXi host to another, we could no longer perform any backups regardless of what we did. We removed all the SP software, re-installed. Couldn't figure it out. We started backing it up via Veeam which worked fine.

SBREST 108 and 1392 invalid data format
Hi,
I had to restore a Microsoft SBS 2011 Server last week and it appears to have worked but I would like to know what the following message means:
SBREST 108 cannot set target partition type (1392 invalid data format)
Please can someone assist me in answering what the above means?

Cannot lock the Volume
We are having issues trying to complete a Full shadowprotect backup after upgrading to version 5.0.4. On attempting to run a backup the error "Cannot lock the volume (-5 Access is denied) is displayed. We are attempting to back up the main drive (C:) onto a secondary drive (E:).

Verification Error on Critical File - Next Step
Hi Guys,
I'm running continuous incrementals across all my virtual servers (to a NAS box) and my exchange server backup has developed a 'verification error' on one of my incrementals from a few weeks ago. I can still mount and restore from that and subsequent incrementals but a manual verification using steps outlined in the knowledge base for that particular MD5 fails as well.
Whats the next step to take from here?? Try and fix or just put that chain to one side and start a new one?
I do not appear to be having any issues anywhere else - just that one file.

Best practice with rotating backup-media
Good morning,
I'm trying to setup automatic backup on a server where the backup media are USB drives that ought to be swapped out daily and taken off-site.
I'd like to do this with a full backup on weekends, and differentials or incrementals once per day during the week. I gather with incrementals this isn't possible - is there a way to automate this with differentials?

Access is denied on quick mount
When some of our administrators log onto the server, the browse to the network share containing the backups, then right click and select "quick mount". At this point it does appear to mount a drive, but they have no access to this drive. They are admins on the server, and have full access rights to the network share containing the backups. Any idea what is causing this? I am not sure how to give them permission to a drive that isn't normally there.

I have turned off the windows firewall in this instance and am purely just asking questions about my network firewall beweeen my LAN an DMZ

Continuous Incremental on File server share which has been re-organised
Hi all,
I am about to re-organise a file server which has over 1TB of data backed up with continuous incrementals.
Can you please tell me if moving files around on the file server will increase the size of the incremental backups or will shadow protect realise the files have just moved and keep the backup size the same?

But what about when Shadowprotect is ALREADY INSTALLED?
Consider 2 servers with SP:
One has only the agent; The other has all the modules: agent, console, virtual boot, mount.
Our goal is to silently UPDATE these servers to 5.1.5.
Can we do this silently?
Should we do it with the SAME ISS file?
-that would mean that the UPDATE does not ADD ANY new components -- it only updates what is already installed.

Hi, we downloaded and installed the version 4.2.7.19756, it completed, we rebooted, and bam, does not connect, just stuck showing 'connecting'

RPC Service is unavailable
Suddenly I cannot connect to my nodes any more (both Win2003 & Win2008). I have an error "The RPC Server is unavailable". The windows firewall on the source & target servers are disabled, & AV is disabled also. I ran some MS utilities to verify sucessful RCP connection (DTCPing) & everything looks fine. Any ideas?
