Hello,
I have been using ShadowProtect with external hard drives for years. I setup an icon on the desktop that users can use to eject the drives. Within the last 6 months I have seen repeated issues with locked drives with different clients and different versions of ShadowProtect. When using ProcessExplorer I can see it is the ShadowProtectSVC and/or ShadowCMD locking the drive. Other then just disconnecting the USB drive, it seems the only way to eject the drive is to stop the service(s).
Any clue why this is happening?
