We have a server that is backing up using StorageCraft ShadowProtect v4.2.5. The server is 2003 Virtual Machine hosted within vmWare ESXi. Backup jobs perform tolerably well, however we wanted to test a complete disaster recovery scenario and perform an HIR to a clean new VM on another attached host server.
The problem is that no matter how we configure the restore process, the restore speeds run only at 2-5 MB/s, which is outrageously slow. Our server contains almost 2TB of data and at this rate it would take 5-8 days to run a restore job!!
